CAD Creation - Parametric Design


Re-designs can be Parameterized or History-based. A parameterized re-design process allows to modify every parameter of a model, while a history-based process allows quick and automatic re-designs based on user-specified input parameters. The hierarchic dependence of the design features facilitates the re-design process. If changes are applied to one feature, all the dependent features will be automatically regenerated.

History-based Re-Design: Changing a feature related to the main pipe regenerates all the dependent features (secondary pipes).
