Silo Combustor

This geometry represents the flow through a silo combustor including several swirling burners and the combustion region as well as secondary flow pathways. The hybrid mesh generated using CENTAUR includes prisms to resolve the boundary layers on all wall surfaces including the small passageways of the burners. Structured hexahedra are used downstream in the combustion chamber to accurately resolve the flow field. The generated grid contains 22045543 elements.
