Channel Design
A derivative mesh is generated from the original one by remeshing part of the geometry while leaving the rest of the mesh unchanged.
Aircraft Pylon Design
The shape of the pylon attaching an engine to the wing is varied. The first image shows the overall geometry with the engine region isolated in a separate zone. The two images below it show the two different pylon configurations that have been tried with this setup.
